The Phoenix Center was a 1.4 million-square-foot post-tensioned concrete parking structure with a 6,000-seat amphitheater/concert venue on top. Located in the heart of downtown Pontiac, the structure had been vacant for years and was a prominent symbol of urban blight. Adamo was selected to safely remove the complex structure and prepare the site for a new mixed-use development. The project was completed more than one month ahead of schedule and on budget, while prioritizing safety, environmental responsibility, and minimal disruption to the surrounding community.
