Testimonials

Thornton Tomasetti was retained by the JV team of HHRM to assess the viability of the Georgia Dome demolition plan proposed by the team of Adamo and Pettigrew, Inc. The successful demolition of the roof ring beam along with the stadium in one single shot posed many challenges, given the proximity of the $1.6-billion replacement Mercedes-Benz stadium, the Georgia World Congress Center facilities that physically touched the stadium and the public transit system tunnel running between the old and new stadiums. Adamo and Pettigrew Inc. adopted all of the recommendations offered by Thornton Tomasetti based on its engineering analyses. Adamo Demolition Co. displayed a sense of professionalism par excellence in executing this project. It was a pleasure to collaborate with Adamo and Pettigrew Inc. on this project.

Did you know?

Adamo Group was the first contractor to premier the APEX 70 and CAT 385CL Ultra High Demolition (UHD) machines as an owner/operator in North America.

We commend Adamo Group on its performance of the demolition and site decommissioning of our Archer Creek and Shell Mold foundries. Contract payments from the sale of recyclable assets were paid ahead of terms and the sale of all materials was fully disclosed to us throughout the project. Adamo mobilized an impressive fleet of late-model equipment and managed the work of its sub-contractors and its own workforce with tight project controls, including the highest of safety standards. We would not hesitate to call of their expertise for future projects.

I would like to commend Adamo for a job well done. It was an excellent experience working with them and once the project came to fruition they mobilized and began working as a well oiled machine. As the job progressed many Bayer employees were impressed by the progression of the project and the same comment that summed up everyone’s impression was “These people really know how to demolish a building."

Your on-site commitment to safety reflects your strong corporate commitment and shows that Adamo truly practices what they preach. We were very impressed by the way the Adamo team faced the unique and difficult challenges of this project. We expect great performance out of our subcontract partners and Adamo exceeds even our very high expectations.

I would like to thank Adamo and their outstanding site staff for an exceptional job performing the interior office and mezzanine demolition of the new paint booth area at the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant. Your Professional Site Management Team successfully completed the demolition work ahead of schedule and with no interference to continuing Plant operations. I have worked with a number of demolition contractors over my career but, the approach and attitude of your Superintendents was far superior to any demolition contractor I have worked with. Their attention to Safety First, customer satisfaction and Ford UAW occupied areas of the plant was just outstanding.

Adamo was diligent in getting the project started and completed the work within budgetary and schedule constraints. I would not hesitate to recommend your firm to anyone seeking a demolition contractor.
