Plant, exclusive of the land, was purchased from Georgia Pacific. Adamo performed environmental decommissioning, asset reclamation and demolition of 650,000 square foot manufacturing plant and the Owner was left with a clean site for future re-use.
Adamo demolished the 700,000 square foot Jefferson Smurfit Paper Plant, formerly the Raisin River Paper Company, founded in 1910. The demolition also included a natural gas fueld boiler system.

Adamo performed the decommissioning and demolition of the 1M square foot Monroe Consolidated Paper Mill, which consisted of sixty buildings in the North and South Plants.
The project was completed along the Raisin River, with engineering controls in place to prevent contamination of the waterway.
