Palmer Promotional Products Plant Demolition Update

In March of this year, Adamo Group assisted the Detroit Fire Department with a two-alarm fire at Palmer Promotional Products plant at 1600 Farnsworth Street. After making the building safe, Adamo Group was contracted by the building owner to complete the demolition of the burnt-out structure. All safety requirements and standards are in place and reviewed daily to ensure the protection of the buildings and their occupants on either side. With the majority of the demolition complete, the project will conclude with final clean up in approximately one month.

Blitz to Demolish 49 Vacant Homes

Today marked the start of Adamo Group’s 3-week long blitz to demolish 49 vacant homes on the City’s west side for the Detroit Land Bank Authority (DLBA). Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Adamo is no stranger to demolition projects. Yet this project is unique in that the time schedule is much more aggressive than the majority of demolitions. Adamo’s site supervisor, Chris Mathews, is working closely with the DLBA to ensure that demolished sites are restored upon completion and that the project stays on track to meet the deadline.
