Congratulations to Larry Carpenter for receiving the distinguished award of the safest contractor employee of the year.

The Detroit Metro Airline Management Council and Wayne County Airport Authority held a health and safety expo on Oct. 4, for all airport staff. Safety vendors, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), MIOSHA health care providers, tenants and other specialty firms exhibited their products and/or safety programs. Several safety classes were held throughout the day for attendees at no additional cost. An award ceremony was held for those employees who were nominated for Safety Awards. 

The Big Dig of Michigan offers children and their families the opportunity to attend the event and operate heavy machinery, including common construction equipment and emergency service vehicles, while raising awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research. This festive fair-like event hosted a variety of hands-on activities and entertainment.

The Adamo Group was proud to be a part of the first ever Big Dig of Michigan! The event hosted more than 250 children, providing them an unforgettable afternoon of construction themed fun and, more importantly, the American Cancer Society​surpassed the event’s fundraising goal, resulting in even more dollars for lifesaving pediatric research!
