Community volunteers have begun efforts to build the Manistique Kids Community Treehouse Center in Detroit. The Center will offer horticultural therapy programming, with a special focus on inclusion of individuals with cognitive and learning disabilities. The group has asked for assistance from volunteers in the community to help them build the center.
The Adamo Group rose to meet that challenge, assisting with clearing a space for the center and then donating materials to contribute to the build. Those materials were delivered on Wednesday December 13, 2017. The lumber will aid the Manistique Treehouse Center to begin their build process.
